Bold Red Wines | & | Indica Dominant Strains

GOOD WEED & WINE IS MEANT TO BE SHARED

Enjoying the flavors of your pairings

If you’re more in the mood for a mellow indica strain, bold reds like Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec [which] are both full-bodied wines that have a variety of dark fruit flavors (blackberry, black currant, plum) and sometimes pepper, cloves, or cinnamon. These wines pair best with bold, heavier indica-dominant strains like Skywalker OG, Blackberry Kush, Grand Daddy Purp (one of my favorites), and Northern lights, [which] carry the same dark fruit and earthy aromas.

When you experience cannabis and wine side-by-side, the similarities between the two are amazing,

The aromas of clove, black pepper and cinnamon common in strains like Rockstar and Northern Lights are due to the beta-caryophyllene terpene. It’s a good pain reliever and anti-inflammatory that helps reduce stress and complements Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.

How to best consume cannabis for flavor

While education is central to pairing W&W, consuming cannabis is often the highlight of the evening. But that’s a learning experience, too.

The sun, soil and water contribute to the flavors and aromas of different strains of cannabis, just as they do with wine.

Did you know?

  • Smoking weed on a regular basis helps lower stress levels.

  • Red Wine is higher in antioxidants? And it also helps with lowering bad cholesterol. Not only does it regulate the cholesterol levels, but also keeps the heart healthy.

  • Polyphenols, a certain type of antioxidants present in red wines prevent unwanted clotting by keeping the blood vessels flexible. However, it should be remembered that heavy drinking damages the heart.

So don't get it twisted! Smoke & Drink Responsibly!

Keep it Simple #SexyStoner

Make sure to break apart the flower to release the terpenes and inhale their scent, then focus on the flavor of that beautiful smoke and how it feels in the mouth. When you pay attention to the finer aspects of cannabis, you learn more about which strains you prefer and tantalize your pallet.

Pair lighter strains of cannabis with white wines. Sunny Savita's!

Pair bolder strains of cannabis with red wines. Insomniac Indica's!

Sativa strains pair best with lighter fare like fish and vegetables.

Indica strains are a better choice with heavier dishes like steak and comfort foods.

Thanks for keeping me company and letting me have a space to share this journey. I’ll be back again soon with another post/video, until then please remember to be safe and responsible with your cannabis use, puff puff pass the love, and smoke weed daily,
