Stoner Fashion | The Rising Trend of Cannabis Clothing

Weed apparel has been around since the 1960s and ‘70s. #DopeFashion

Cannabis Culture

For years, the culture surrounding weed was associated hippies. The association is quite natural, but the sense of fashion and visual style was largely stuck in the ‘60s and ‘70s. It may have taken a bit longer than some people would've liked, but the laws began to change and so did the clothing and related culture. Hippies proudly adorned themselves with jewelry and hemp clothing. Today people are happy to celebrate their passion. For many people, this means dressing the part.

Rising Trends

Fashion is a common way for people to express themselves and their hobbies or lifelong loves. It's not surprising that cannabis enthusiasts do the same. You can find T-shirts, hoodies, leggins, and sweatshirts that show off cannabis leaves or slogans. It's practically impossible to visit a clothing shop that supports the cannabis culture and not see at least a dozen items with 420 proudly displayed on the apparel.

Modern Fashion

Streetwear has taken the world by storm and cannabis fashion has embraced contemporary trends. Even nerd culture, sports lovers, and anime fans are now accommodated as well. You can find anime-inspired artwork, baseball-style shirts, and meme-friendly apparel on display. Modern weed culture is broadly intersected with practically every other element of today's cultural landscape, and it has never been more openly embraced.

Are you a science lover? You can show off the chemistry of THC or CBD on your clothing and show off your love of weed as well as establish your science cred.

It shouldn't be that surprising cannabis culture clothing has continued to evolve and progress. The culture is constantly shifting and changing, and today's generations are more inclusive than ever before.

No matter what you're looking for, there's a T-shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, socks, or coffee mug that'll work for you. Even better, your celebration of cannabis culture can go hand-in-hand with your other passions. Sounds like a dope deal to me.
